Tulip table was the last series of furniture designed by Saarinen in 1956 and it is currently produced by Mvsevm by Alivar.

The group of furniture with pedestal was the designer's attempt to solve the problem of the "hollow of the legs" and to eliminate the visual confusion: in fact, the products of the series were designed according to an organic unity, but unfortunately, the technical limitations of the period did not allow this series to be created with a single mold and a single molded material.
