The history of the Olimpino table by Cassina began in 1955 when Ico Parisi was commissioned to design a table for a private villa near Como. The designer designed Olimpino as a central element within the home, as an extremely articulated and sculptural piece of furniture. Olimpino is an icon of the brand and it has a glass top and a thin metal reticular structure that is particularly recognizable and combined with details such as the lateral brass glazing bead or the solid wood feet.
