Noonu is an atoll, a corner of pure relaxation amid the colors of the Maldives, from which Antonio Citterio took inspiration to design B&B Italia's new upholstered furniture system. It is a brand-new project that aims to continue and complete the journey initiated in 2018 with B&B Atoll.

Noonu collection works in harmony with the previous B&B Italia collections, to create a real archipelago of proposals, where the distinctive uniqueness of each element helps to tell a coherent story.

Noonu is a padded system with large dimensions and great flexibility. The supporting structure disappears from view creating "islands" that appear almost suspended from the ground. The seats are deep with a large single seat cushion that guarantees extreme comfort, invites relaxation and characterizes the aesthetics. The inclined back is designed to accommodate cushions to be arranged at will. To give further character to the proposal, a support element to be positioned as desired: a roller cushion bound by sophisticated belts to a die-cast aluminum structure to be housed under the seat cushion. In this way it can be used freely as an armrest terminal element or as a headrest, to read or to work, to be inserted between the seats or removed according to the occasions of use.
