The Wassily armchair, designed by Marcel Breuer for the Knoll brand, is an icon of modern design. It is characterized by its structure made of curved tubular steel with a glossy chrome finish, complemented by leather straps that add an extra touch of elegance to the product.

Breuer conceived the armchair in 1925, during his apprenticeship at the Bauhaus, and it was commissioned for the apartment of the painter Wassily Kandinsky, a leader of the Bauhaus movement. Drawing inspiration from bicycle frames and the constructivist theories of the De Stjil movement, Breuer simplified the form of the classic club chair.
