Fjord armchair by Moroso was designed by Patricia Urquiola starting from a fragment of a shell broken and smoothed by the waves. The name evokes the Scandinavian influence and it is visible in the elongated cut of the seat, a metaphor for the coves of the northern coasts. The broken shape is transformed into a design object: gentle lines that support and welcome, highlighted by the accuracy of the visible stitching in continuous harmony with the essentiality of the structure.
