Cassina No Vanitas

No Vanitas mirror is designed by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina and it is an unconventional and refined product that, from its name onwards, negates vanity and celebrates the craftsmanship of cast glass murrine, a typical cord of the Murano tradition.

No Vanitas allows for reflection on the outer perimeter, as the handcrafted murrine by glass artisans is centrally placed through a complex and elaborate process.

On the back of the mirror, there is a led light - activated by a sensor located beneath the mirror – that creates a captivating optical effect that runs along the perimeter and illuminates the central murrine.
